Osage Falls to Southern Boone To Finish Out Regular Season

On Monday night Osage falls to Southern Boone 8-2.  The Eagles got things started in the top of the third with three runs off of two hits and four errors.  In the fifth and sixth they would add two off of two errors and three hits.  They would add three earned runs in the seventh off of four hits.

The Indians offense would show life in the sixth inning as Avery Faulkner would reach on a walk and Autumn Doerhoff would enter the game as a pinch runner.  Paige Luttrell would follow with a single to put runners on first and second as Carly Ward would step to the plate.  She would drive both runs in on a two RBI double to rightfield.  

Cami Schaller would toe the rubber for Southern Boone pitching seven innings allowing two runs with 15 K's, five hits, and two walks to earn the win.

Ward would take the loss allowing eight runs on ten hits, striking out five, and walking zero.

The Indians finish the regular season 11-13 and will face Salem in the first round of the Class 3 District 10 Tournament on Thursday at 6:00 in Bolivar.
