Osage Lady Indians vs Linn Lady Wildcats

The girls traveled to Linn on Monday night. This would be a much different game than our last few in that we started off very quickly and then followed it with not as strong a second half.  We scored the first 7 points of the first quarter and felt pretty good about how things were going. The girls built up a 10-point lead after one quarter led by five points from Sara Wolf, four from Liberty Gamm and a three from Reese Good.  The second quarter we did not score as well as we had in the first. We turned Linn over 20 times in the first half, but only held a 25-13 lead. The third quarter was one in which we went ice cold from the field, only scoring five points. Luckily, our defense stayed strong and Linn was only able to chip off two points of the lead. The fourth quarter was a good one for us as we had four players score and held them to only eight points. It is always good to go on the road and get a win. This one was especially good because it got the girls back to .500 at 5-5.  It was a bit frustrating to not score the ball a little bit better, but we have to believe the shots will fall in the next game.
