Boys Soccer

With 2018 being the tenth anniversary for soccer at School of the Osage, it is exciting to be part of the Indian Soccer Program.  It is time for the men’s soccer team to make their mark in Missouri State Class 2 Soccer.  This season will feature players who sacrificed their time and effort to develop the technical and tactical skills needed to have an immediate impact on local soccer.

The 2018 varsity team will have players from local and regional clubs with playing experience from Midwest Regional League, U.S. Olympic Development teams, President’s Cup, Missouri State Cup and numerous college showcases including FC Dallas, GSI Kansas City Showcase, and St. Louis FC Invitational.  Many of these players spent their summer contact days with the coaching staff learning what it will take to be an Indian soccer player and a team mate.  Individual achievements will be recognized primarily from player effort and attitude.  We expect Indian soccer players to represent the School of the Osage through citizenship and academics, as well as athletics and to be leaders for change that elevates the soccer culture in our community.

Coach Ramirez and I are confident the 2018 Indian Soccer Team will be competitive in the regular season and look to challenge our opponents in District 11.  In the past, this program talked about standards.  It will be our mission to set the standard and make the Missouri State High School Tournament an annual goal.  Those caught looking to the past will say this is lofty or ambitious.  The 2018 Indian Soccer Team invites you to see for yourself by joining us this season and be part of Soccer Nation.
