Mr. Jason Long
High School Soccer Coach and Alternative School Teacher. Married 26 years to Michelle (Shelly) Long with two boys Logan (23) and Garrett (17). Graduated from Crocker High School in 1992, earned a BS Ed. from Drury University in 2004 and an MS Educational Administration from Lindenwood University in 2012. Enjoys training youth soccer players, traveling and warm weather. Started teaching for the Iberia School District in 2004 and established the Agriculture Education program then became the Ag Ed Instructor and FFA Advisor. Moved to Waynesville Career Center to take over the Waynesville Agriculture Program in 2011. While in Waynesville, helped promote the first three Missouri State FFA Degrees as well as the first FFA American Degree in school history. The Waynesville FFA Program developed into a Three Star Gold National Chapter and was recognized in the top 10% of active Agriculture Programs in the state of Missouri. Wrote the WCC Enhancement Grant in 2013-2014 for a total of $466,000 to support Career and Technical Education programs. Left WCC in 2015 to pursue his dream of opening an indoor sports complex. Later in 2015 The Pitch Indoor Soccer League was created where soccer players from all over Central Missouri go to train. Hired in 2016-17 to teach Comm. Arts at Laquey Elementary School. Moved to School of the Osage in 2018 to become the HS Mens Soccer Coach.
